Terms and Conditions. 
Booking.
Please read the following Booking Conditions. Tennisun Holidays is not a Tour Operator but an agent acting between you the customer and the owners of the rental properties.
When you make a booking you enter into an agreement with the owner of the property, the terms and conditions form the basis of this agreement. 
 
Making a Booking.
Bookings can be made by email, or phone. Once we have agreed on the property you wish to rent, we will send written confirmation by email or post if requested. 
Please note that at least one member of the party booking an accommodation must be over 21 years of age. 
Bookings made in High Season.
During July, August and school holidays, some of our properties will have a fixed day for arrivals and departures, usually a Thursday or Saturday.
During these times we will only accept bookings for a complete week e.g. 7, 14 or 21 days. If you wish to book a property for half a week or extra nights, please contact us. 
Payment.
A deposit of 30% of the full rental fee is payable when you receive confirmation of the booking.
The full balance of the rental fee for your chosen property becomes payable 8 weeks before your departure date.
If you are booking a property less than 8 weeks before departure then we will ask you to pay the full rental fee for the property at this time. 
Payment can be made in sterling by bank transfer or cheque.  
If either the deposit or balance of payment is not received within 7 days of the due date then the booking will be cancelled. Please note we are not able to refund any deposits. 
Security Deposit.
When you rent your accommodation we will ask you to pay a refundable security deposit. Payment should be made in euros or sterling. The amount will vary according to the size of the property but will not exceed £500.
This deposit will be refunded within 2 weeks after your stay. If necessary the deposit can be used to cover breakages, damage to the property, extra cleaning or non payment of services locally. 
Should it be necessary to use the security deposit this will only be done following discussion with you and the property owner. 
Check in and departure times.
All our properties will undergo a thorough clean and inspection after each stay. This means that you may not be able to access your accommodation before 2pm on the day of your arrival. Please let us know if you intend to arrive earlier.
We ask that all properties are vacated by 10 am on the day of departure, to allow for cleaning and inspection. 

Cancellations and changes to bookings.
If you wish to cancel or change your booking, please let us know as quickly as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you. Unfortunately this is not always feasible and we cannot guarantee to be able to do so.
If the change incurs extra cost this will be payable along with the balance of payment 8 weeks prior to travel. If the balance has already been paid, we will ask you to pay any extra cost immediately. We will not be able to confirm any changes to your booking until we have received payment.
We may also make a small administrative charge to cover any extra work involved. 
Refunds.
If you wish to cancel your holiday, please let us know as soon as possible. We will try and re-let your accommodation. If we are successful you will receive the rental fee for the property minus the deposit and minus 10% to cover administration costs for the extra work involved.
It is not possible to refund the initial deposit once paid as we pass this directly on to the property owner.
If we are unable to re-let the property and you have already paid the balance of the rental fee, we will not be able to refund you.
For this reason we advise you to take out adequate Travel Insurance at the time of booking. 
Role of Algarve Holiday Rentals Ltd.
Algarve Holiday Rentals Ltd. act as an agent between you and the property owner, we are not liable for the actions of the property owner, their representatives or any person not employed by us. 
We have visited all the properties on the website and all the descriptions of the accommodation and facilities have been made in good faith and are accurate at the time we make our visit.
We exclude any liability for inaccuracies or omissions that may occur. 
If problems occur while you are on holiday, please inform us as soon as possible and we will do our best to rectify the situation. We do not guarantee to be able to do this where the problem is the responsibility of the property owner or is a result of your actions or the actions of any of your party. 
Algarve Holiday Rentals Ltd. excludes all liability for any losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of your booking, your stay at the property or otherwise in connection with your agreement with the property owner. 
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the rental of the property. 
 
 Complaints.
We will try to address any complaint not rectified locally provided that you inform us as soon as possible and provide written details of the complaint within seven days of your return. 
If in order to rectify a complaint we offer to re accommodate you in another property, and you refuse, we will not be liable for any compensation payments to you. 
Please note we are not liable for any problems that are the responsibility of the property owner. 
Force Majeure.
We do not accept any liability for events we cannot reasonably foresee and avoid. Examples of such events are breakdown of plumbing, electricity, problems with swimming pools, natural disaster, weather, fire, strikes, civil unrest, closure of roads, ports or airports.
We cannot accept any liability for such events which are out of our control and we are not obliged to compensate you for any loss, damage or inconvenience you experience. 
 Your responsibilities.
When you book an accommodation with us you agree to behave in a proper manner, to be considerate, not cause any nuisance or annoyance to the property owner, neighbours, staff or other guests. 
You are responsible for your actions and the actions of any other guests or visitors in your party. 
You must ensure that you and everyone in your part is travelling with adequate Travel Insurance as Algarve Holiday Rentals Ltd. will not accept any liability for medical expenses, repatriation, loss or damage to possessions, public liability or any other costs, losses or damages that would be covered by a Travel Insurance Policy. 
If you wish to bring pets please inform us at the time of booking as most property owners will not allow this. 
Please look after the property, furniture, fixtures and fittings. Leave the property clean and tidy and let us know about any breakages.
Should any breakages occur the cost may be taken from the security deposit, as will a charge for extra cleaning if the property is not left in a decent state of cleanliness.
If the amount of damage exceeds the amount of the security deposit, you will be liable for the difference. 
You understand that no more than the maximum amount of people listed on the particulars can stay in the property.
Exceeding the maximum limit will invalidate local insurance for the property, and the owner has the right to refuse admittance or evict you and your party under these circumstances. 
The use of any recreational facilities including Swimming Pools is entirely at your own risk. Children and non swimmers must be closely supervised at all times in and around the pool area. Please do not use the pool if you have been drinking alcohol. 
Algarve Holiday Rentals Ltd. can provide contact details of local baby sitters. Often the baby sitter will have been used by us for the care of our own children. It is however important that you understand that baby sitters are usually unqualified and that we have undertaken no vetting procedure.
It is your decision and responsibility if you decide to leave your children in the care of another person, we assume no liability for any problems that may arise. 
 
Data Protection Policy.
We will take all reasonable measures to protect your personal details. We only pass on your details to suppliers who are directly involved with the provision of services to you e.g. Property Owners. We will not pass on your details to any other third parties except as required by Law e.g. Police, immigration officials.
We may occasionally use your details to send you details of promotions, special offers or properties we think may be of interest to you. Please let us know if you prefer not to receive further information.
