Moncarapacho

Moncarapacho is a typical Portuguese town in the Eastern Algarve offering all the necessary amenities including supermarkets, an outdoor market, post office, bank and a number of good restaurants offering true Portuguese fare. The nearest beach is Fuseta where you can catch a ferry to the islands Fuseta, Culatra, Armona.
Tavira is a short drive away with its cobbled streets, little cafes, restaurants and numerous churches.
The main attraction is Tavira Island ferries can be caught from Quatro Aguas, where there are a number of fine restaurants.
Between Fuseta and Tavira there is a delightful fishing village called Cabanas boasting lovely little restaurants specialising in seafood and in particular octopus dishes. A little train can be caught from here which takes you to a beautiful white sandy beach called Barril beach

Villamoura

Vilamoura is a stunning coastal resort in the central Algarve. In additon to 5 championship golf courses, a tennis centre, a show jumping arena, mini golf, an olympic size swimming pool and a range of boating activiites from sail boats to luxury cruizes.
In recent years the central reservation running through Vilamoura has been converted into a beautiful walk way with various circuit training exercise stations and a wide variety of plants, trees and shrubs either side. It makes a very pleasant walk to the Marina and for those feeling energetic an excellent area to cycle or jog.
The Marina is the heart of the resort with a wide range of cosmopolitan restaurants, bars, cafes, boutiques and kiosks where boat trips are sold. Falesia Beach is a long stretch of golden sand, flanked by ragged, orange, sandstone cliffs and dotted with little beachfront huts serving delicious seafood, or snacks.
